My name is Damian Boylan and I am contesting the upcoming Local Elections in May 2019. I live in Blarney and I am a married father of two school going children. I ran for Council in 2014 and was unlucky to not get selected at that time.
I am a founding member of Blarney & District Chamber of Commerce, the Blarney People of the Year Awards and have been actively involved in my community for the past 10 years.
A lot of the national issues are on the way to being solved but locally I feel this area can do better. With the addition of new housing the infrastructure to accommodate our new residents must be in place. Our roads, sewerage and water, schools and facilities require investment and upgrading.
I would love to be your voice in the new Cork City Council. Being a local councillor is a huge responsibility and is vital to an area.
I take this responsibility seriously and realise that your vote is important. If you support me and vote for me in May I commit to being available and vocal in my support for our community.
Please let me know your views and what you believe our community priorities should be. Email me on [email protected] or call/text me on 087 2244364
I look forward to meeting with as many of you as possible in the coming week.
