Kazi Ahmed is a Fine Gael local election candidate in the Glencullen-Sandyford Electoral Area. Kazi intends to represent Sandyford to the best of his ability and wants to make the area an even better place to live and raise families.
Kazi has been living and working in Sandyford for the last 11 years with his wife and two children, and residing in Ireland for more than 16 years. One of the proudest moment of his life was becoming an Irish Citizen in 2012. He has a strong business background holding a MSc. and MBA in International Business Management, and having worked in major companies in the area of IT, Sales, International Marketing & Project Management for nearly 15 years. He is a professional individual with innovative ideas, living and working locally.
His motivation to enter local politics stems from a desire to improve local amenities, so all children like his own can grow up with access to quality playgrounds, affordable childcare and education. Having travelled the world extensively, he has an informed appreciation of standards we should be aspiring to emulate. Kazi believes more green spaces and better infrastructure in the area can be achieved through better Council planning. His other priorities are integration of diverse communities, traffic, parking, litter management, footpaths, roads.
Kazi is motivated, energetic and passionate about his community and will give his best to deliver results if elected.
